She created a patient handbook which led to the development of the training portfolio of PITstop diabetes courses. Over the last 15 years Anne has created successful training programmes for the whole practice team encouraging a holistic approach. PITstop courses are recognised nationally. Anne has built the company up solely on word of mouth and PITstop’s fantastic reputation. Anne delivered all of the courses face-to-face prior to COVID. Anne’s resilience and determination saw her take all of the courses online and restructure the courses and business to continue to meet the demand and need for primary care diabetes education.
Debbie Woods, Head of Medical General Medicines Sanofi UK & Ireland said:

The commitment to quality of care is a core value of the NHS and the QIC programme is a shining example of that value in practice.”
