What is included in the cost?
Access to the PITstop course, member login to resources and quarterly CPD case studies for 2-years, PITstop student folders and resource packs, six insulin start packs including the patient PITstop handbook, two phone / email support sessions during the accreditation period, marking and moderation of clinical assessment and reflective report.

2. The national team are commissioned to deliver the PITstop programme to a minimum of 12 students, maximum 30.. This can be shared across Clinical Commissioning Groups
What is included?
Administration for course registration, full delivery of a PITstop course, member login to resources and quarterly CPD case studies for 2-years, PITstop student folders and resource packs, six insulin start packs per student, including the patient PITstop handbook, marking and moderation of the clinical assessment and reflective report.
What is not included?
Venue, mentorship during the accreditation period (we encourage the local CCG to commission mentorship as part of the local provider service), trainer travel and accommodation. Additional insulin start packs can be purchased separately.

3. “Train the trainer” and run local PITstop courses delivered by your specialist team.
Commission our team to train up to three members of the local multi-disciplinary specialist team to deliver PITstop to your area. Every time they run a PITstop course thereafter, there is a set fee that covers course resources and registration for 24 students.
What is expected of the local trainers?
Trainers need to attend a two-day course that can be held locally on request. A member of the PITstop team will provide quality observation and feedback during their first course. The trainers will be expected to attend an update day every second year to retain their qualification as a PITstop trainer. One of the trainers will be designated as the lead coordinator and coordinate with the national team when registering a course and submitting student’s work for accreditation.
What is included?
Two-day course for local specialists, trainer resources, six-insulin start packs each, a PITstop resource pack, quality observation by a member of the national PITstop team during the first local course.
What is not included?
Registration fee for every local course (includes student resource packs)
National trainer travel and accommodation when running the “train the trainer” course (if held locally) and for the quality observer during the first local course.
PITstop one-day update for trainers (required to maintain registration every two years).
